“The architecture of 3344 Peachtree was conceived as a series of inset crystalline volumes. Consistent with the notion of crystalline architectural forms, the building envelope would utilize four-sided butt-glazing in conjunction with two-sided and four-sided captured curtain wall systems. As the design developed, the building form became more dynamic and the building geometries more complex. Large scale curved building elements evolved into three-dimensional conical geometries. This resulted in a 50 story building in which no two levels were alike in terms of area or dimension. Bruce Wall Systems was brought into the process at an early stage and their technical expertise and willingness to take on new challenges made them a key player in developing technically solid, cost-effective solutions that enabled the architectural vision to become a reality.”
